Call Connect India is a growing digital agency specializing in custom web development, focusing on high-performance websites and e-commerce solutions, primarily using WordPress and Shopify. We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our dynamic team and help us build, maintain, and optimize web applications.



  • Location: Call Connect India, Doon Business Park, Building 2000, Ground Floor, Suite 2021, Subhash Nagar (opposite Transport Nagar, near ISBT)

Key Responsibilities



  • PHP Core Development:


    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code for custom web applications and features.


  • WordPress Development:


    • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.

    • Build and optimize WooCommerce stores.

    • Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress sites.


  • Shopify Development:


    • Customize Shopify themes and templates.

    • Implement e-commerce features and integrate payment gateways.

    • Optimize store performance and handle app integrations.


  • Database Management:


    • Design, manage, and optimize MySQL databases.

    • Write efficient queries for smooth data handling.


  • Front-End Development:


    • Implement responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

    • Utilize Bootstrap for mobile-first UI/UX design.


  • Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting:


    • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in both front-end and back-end code.


  • Version Control & Code Management:


    • Use Git for version control and collaborative development.


  • Code Optimization:


    • Regularly review and optimize code for performance, speed, and security.


  • Collaboration & Client Interaction:


    • Collaborate with design, development, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.

    • Occasionally interact with clients to understand requirements and provide technical advice.



Key Skills & Qualifications



  • PHP Core Development:


    • Strong experience with PHP and custom web application development.


  • WordPress Expertise:


    • In-depth knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development, with experience in WooCommerce.


  • Shopify Proficiency:


    • Practical experience in Shopify theme customization and app integrations.


  • Database Skills:


    • Proficient in MySQL database management, query optimization, and performance tuning.


  • Front-End Skills:


    • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

    • Experience using Bootstrap for creating mobile-first, responsive layouts.


  • Additional Skills:


    • Familiarity with Git for version control.

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

    • Effective collaboration and communication skills.



Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)



  • Experience with Shopify Plus and Liquid for advanced customizations.

  • Knowledge of integrating REST APIs and third-party services.

  • Familiarity with Node.js or Vue.js for dynamic front-end development.

  • Understanding of web security practices and performance optimization.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.


Education & Experience



  • Education:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


  • Experience:


    • 2-3 years of professional experience in PHP, WordPress, and Shopify development.

    • Strong experience in MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
